A long-time friend and fellow S California native had gifted me this watercolor etching by the artist Orpha Klinker years ago. This morning I donated it to our local Art and History museum. It’s been hanging on my bedroom wall for years; others should have the chance to enjoy it. It’s from the 1920’s or 30s. It shows a scene from the San Gabriel mission in S CA
The Museum must be thrilled! And kind of you to share with others.
Those are Corkscrew Willows. A hand colored drypoint etching of a California adobe.
Nice piece of California history.
