Mira and the Kookaburra

I sure hope I am not the only person here that has done some collage artworks.
My first collage was while I was in primary school. It was an art challenge, to create whatever image, from the pages of a coloured magazine. The task was to tear up the paper in no bigger bits than about 1/2 inch square. I cannot exactly remember what I created, but I remember I used lots of different browns; and that I had lots of fun.
There are two basic ways to create a collage. One is to cut out already made images and arrange them to make a completely new image. The other way is to cut a coloured piece of paper and make an image similar to 'paint by numbers'. I used both methods in #3 post.
As a kid, I loved making Christmas and Birthday cards in collage fashion. Come to think of it, I may do this again for this Christmas.

My 2nd largest collage is 1220 x 900 mm. Title: Austrian Incident.
It has bits in it that makes the collage somewhat of an assemblage.
