The other, Myles is said to have warrants or did have warrants, and a long history of crime. Police have been looking for him since May.
Yes, but as someone stated in an earlier post, to kill with a knife takes physical effort and time. That provides other potential victims some time to escape.Just goes to show when people are seriously disturbed they will kill and maim each other with whatever weapon is at hand. It doesn't have to be a gun.
He has been convicted of FIFTY EIGHT criminal offences in 22 years. THAT is a classic career criminal for sure. Jimb. The other, Myles is said to have warrants or did have warrants, and a long history of crime. Police have been looking for him since May.
Unfortunately Canada altho' not on the scale of the USA has as much crime as anywhere else..especially in the cities.. where for example Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto.. just as we have here.. and along with that comes CrimeI was shocked to hear about this when it broke on our news. Canada always seems such a peaceful place and generally no crime reported in this manner. It all seems so violent and I really feel for the victims and their families. It must have been terrifying for all concerned.
You are quite wrong about "Crime in Canada , especially on First Nations Reserves " As a group, the First Nations people have the following statistics. They have the highest number of children, per husband and wife ( about 4 times the number of children in other households ) the highest number of children taken away by the Child Protection agencies. The highest rate of sexually transmitted disease in Canada, the highest number of drug addicted people, the highest number of alcoholics, the highest number of people in prison, compared to their total population which is only 5 percent of the total population of Canada. In some of the western Provinces , First Nations people make up 50 percent of the prison population. The First Nations across Canada have the highest number of homicides, per 1000 people in the population. The Federal Government keeps pouring BILLIONS of dollars EACH YEAR into First Nations communities, with little to no accounting about how the Chiefs and the band councils actually SPEND the money. On any First Nation, the nicest house, with the $85,000 pick up truck parked in the driveway, will belong to the Chief. And his or her family will certainly also benefit from their relation to " The Boss'. Meanwhile, the other people on the reserve who are not related to the Chief, will be living in a shack. They certainly are overachievers. You are quite wrong about "Crime in Canada , especially on First Nations Reserves " As a group, the First Nations people have the following statistics. Not true! Many Canadians have developed "mental problems" stemming from those "glorious" restrictions placed on their freedom for the last 2 years; thanks to Covid 19 or whatever you call it today. Perhaps, pandemic will do! The country is more divided then I have ever seen it since Quebec wanted separation.I was shocked to hear about this when it broke on our news. Thank goodness! They caught the alleged killer in a stolen vehicle. About 140 Km away from the murder location. He was travelling with someone else, as reported earlier.

And an AR 15 (or any firearm) can also be used to stop a massacre.......provided citizenry are permitted access to firearms.Yes, but as someone stated in an earlier post, to kill with a knife takes physical effort and time. That provides other potential victims some time to escape.
An AR 15 with a large clip can take many more lives in a much shorter time frame. That is why there are many more massacres by semiautomatic firearms than there are by knife or tomahawk.
And an AR 15 (or any firearm) can also be used to stop a massacre.......provided citizenry are permitted access to firearms.
That's why AR 15's are what police use - just about everywhere, including Canada.

It sure is an easier task with a gun.Just goes to show when people are seriously disturbed they will kill and maim each other with whatever weapon is at hand. It doesn't have to be a gun.
Sadly, all your words are true and accurate. You are quite wrong about "Crime in Canada , especially on First Nations Reserves " As a group, the First Nations people have the following statistics. I was thinking the same thing.wonder if one of them killed the other...
That is sad, and unfortunately too much like the situation for some of our Native Americans in the US.ou are quite wrong about "Crime in Canada , especially on First Nations Reserves "
Exactly where they should be. Nothing so extensive as this, but there are many other cases of a released killer being released and repeating the crime. One I knew was particularly heartbreaking. The Parole board had been warned by his previous victims. It didn’t help the next woman he murdered. The National Parole Board of Canada will be under a very hot spotlight, to answer why the killer was granted parole time and again over his 22 year criminal career.
He was probably granted parole again & again for the same reason criminals are granted parole here in the U.S. To cut costs of inmate upkeep. Inmates have to be housed, fed, & also get medical & dental care. The second Sanderson brother has been arrested by the RCMP. The vehicle he was driving was forced off the road, and he was taken out of the vehicle and handcuffed by Police. Shortly afterward, he was seen to be suffering from self inflicted wounds. A local EMS Ambulance transported him to a hospital in Regina, where he was declared dead. So ends the pursuit , but now begins the investigation into the deaths, and the cause of this tragedy. The National Parole Board of Canada will be under a very hot spotlight, to answer why the killer was granted parole time and again over his 22 year criminal career. JimB.
