Attack at the Houses of Parliament London.

45 minutes ago there was an attack at he houses of parliament
in London.

A man with a knife stabbed a police officer and then some other
policemen shat him.

At the same time, or maybe by the same man, a car ran along
the pavement/sidewalk of Westminster bridge, knocking down lots
of pedestrians.

It is live on the BBC 24 News, right now.

The preliminary reports regarding the scope of the attack were not matching the visuals. Now it's 4 dead and 20 wounded. Including school children?

WhatInThe, the visuals are from the beginning and
they have been running in a loop, the Police got
everybody including the TV cameras well away from
the action, they have a large area locked down, they
have 400 to 500 politicians shut in the Houses of
Parliament and they will not be allowed out until it is
established that there are no more "Terrorists" in the
area. It will remain locked down for the foreseeable
future till they collect any evidence and that won't
start till after dawn.

My thing is that early on many US news anchors were trying to minimize the attack and were saying only a few injured yet I saw a bridge with many emergency vehicles with several bodies/victims and second scene with by the Parliament fence.

He drove across the bridge on the pavement hitting
pedestrians all the way at high speed, originally there
were 10 injured reported on the bridge, but by the end
of the day, there were 20 casualties some very seriously
injured and 5 dead including the policeman who was on
duty at the Houses of Parliament.

There were a lot of French School Children on the bridge
who got hit too.

I back the grit of the Brits against the bastardry of the terrorists.
My sympathy is with the injured and the families of the murdered.
It is so sad that people going about their peaceful business can be so callously run down.
 
This morning the report is that there were 40 injured,
8 are still in hospital, 7 of those are serious and in ICU.

The killer was from Birmingham, the car was hired and
9 of his buddies have been arrested.

Everything is nearly back to normal, the London Eye,
(a big wheel that you can go on), is closed, two bridges
are closed, the river bus is not stopping at the two stops
nearest to Parliament, plus several roads are closed, but
the politicians are at work and all the local businesses
and offices are all open.

Sad about the people that were injured and those who died,
they were from all over the World.
An American couple from Texas I think were celebrating their
25th wedding anniversary and were due to return home today,
the husband was killed and the wife is in ICU. RIP.

A great tragedy for Great Britain and the world.
To my knowledge the list of victims includes two American citizen's , four South Korean tourists, two Greeks, one German, one Irishman, one Chinese and one Italian.
Twelve British citizens were also injured.
My condolences to all of the family's who have lost loved ones.

As for the Terrorists. they will not make Britons crawl. we survived Adolf Hitler's Blitzkriegs and we will only come out of this stronger.
