Australia’s Queensland state government has signed a deal to return the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest back to the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people
Unfortunately, Oz has a checkered past when it comes to its original peoples, as does the US. It's not the few acres of land that is important, but the acknowledgement of a culture, and the respect for its people.
In Canada we really need to give all the land back to the original owners and we need to ship all the English and French back to England and France. Also, everybody else, like the Chinese, Ukrainians, Germans, etc. from where they came! (Hey, relax! I'm only kidding! It's not going to happen! I hope?)
