"Bad" and "good" are, most of the time, too subjective and general to have any meaning.
Yes, some things are just plain bad, period. The rape of the baby mentioned above is one example. But most things are too complicated to be labeled as bad or good. Example:
You manage to get a job interview scheduled for your dream job. (Good)
You don't know how to get to the office for the interview. (Bad)
You get in your car and the GPS kicks in with directions. (Good)
Halfway there, your car sputters to a stop. (Bad)
You find a nearby mechanic. (Good)
He says he can't get around to fixing your car until next week. (Bad)
A kind stranger offers to give you a lift. (Good)
He turns out to be an axe murderer. (Bad)
And so on.
