Just curious how much a nice, but not special, donut costs in a bake shop - not a chain. It’s so rare that I go in one, that I was shocked. $3 for a regular donut. $5.50 for a Napoleon. Plus taxes.
Today in a shop owned by a European it was almost $17 for a Chocolate Mousse, a small macaroon, and two small croissants. All were delicious and I don’t object to the price. The quality was there. It just surprised me. I must live under a rock.
BTW, I think a donut at Tim Horton’s is $1. Really don’t have a clue what these things cost.
