(Just had to say that I think necklaces are one of the most common types of jewelry worn currently. But only certain kinds. Beads are very popular, and thin silver chains with a little pendant. Gold does not seem to be in fashion. And there doesn't seem to be as much religious-type jewelry as there used to be.)
