Another one... few details at this point.
Baltimore is a troubled city with a lot of shootings. It has become more like a little Chicago or Philadelphia. I am a little surprised that this happened in the Brooklyn area, which is rich in history. This is where Fort McHenry is located and where Francis Scott Key wrote the "Star Spangled Banner." The Orioles and the Ravens stadiums are both located there as well. The two stadiums are kind of like back to back.Another one... few details at this point.

Thanks, I had forgotten about the Brooklyn neighborhood.I am a little surprised that this happened in the Brooklyn area, which is rich in history. This is where Fort McHenry is located and where Francis Scott Key wrote the "Star Spangled Banner."
Great idea and let's get rid of the laws banning machine guns. Let's go "full auto" and really expand the killing fields.I've got an idea- let's arm everyone!! What could possibly go wrong?
I don't know whether it's the right call or not, but I think I remember reading that they do it intentionally. Many shooters want to make headlines and be famous, and then it inspires copycat acts. Some news agencies don't want to give them the headlines they seek and be a part of that twisted narrative. I get the anger you are feeling, but just sharing what I remember hearing. One of things I notice about these shootings at public gatherings when/if they arrest the murderers it's rarely headline news. Start making an example of a murderers who kill and don't care they also killed innocents not involved in their world. Their peers need to see what happens to a captured murderer.
Today and tomorrow this will be headlines, if they arrest the perp by the end of the week it will get a mention on local news. I rarely see follow up on these shootings.
Problem is you don't want to create an air of mystery like they are video game character or something. The world needs to see what cowards they really are. They shouldn't even be called 'the shooter' if they kill people-they are murderers or killers. Again shooter makes it seem like a video game.I don't know whether it's the right call or not, but I think I remember reading that they do it intentionally. Again, I get your anger. I feel it too. I was just referencing what I heard.Problem is you don't want to create an air of mystery like they are video game character or something. Especially with these gang related killings. They are criminals. They were criminals before the killing spree. Lets see these what these killers look and act like in a straight forward prison interview rather than social media post wearing the latest fashion, jewelry, hair style with music in the background. How 'cool' are they then?
