Beach Boys!

What is your favorite Beach Boys song
 

I liked a lot of their music but never liked this one in particular until I saw this video when someone posted it here. Maybe I just like focusing on a beautiful woman singing more than a few nerdy looking guys.

 
Best version of 'Kokomo' I ever heard was when I was a volunteer parent on an elementary school trip. On the bus, the kids, think they were third grade, spontaneously began singing it. Heaven!
 
I saw the Beach Boys in concert at the New York State Fair three times in the 1980's. Each time they had a better opening act. The first time it was Exile, a 70's band. The 2nd time it was a southern rock band, The Marshall Tucker Band. The 3rd time's the charm, The Everly Brothers.
 
Brian Wilson is still touring, as The Brian Wilson Band, doing about 100 shows a year. A musical savant, but also a very tortured mind. I sometimes think...I wonder what an album produced by Brian Wilson and Phil Spector would have sounded like. Two monumental egos.......Perhaps it wouldn't have worked out....JImB.
 
They were not my favorite however as I get older I enjoy them more. I think because now I can appreciate and respect their talent.
They were good to listen to at the beach.
 
I've always liked the Beach Boys, my all time favorite song is' God Only Knows'
Its sad to know that Brain Wilson is the only remaining brother still with us, Dennis died in 1983, Carl in 1998-lung cancer

First song I ever heard in the 60s was Surfing USA followed by I Wish They All Coukd Be California Girls... My sibling had their album. When she got married and moved out, I lost all them albums, she never kept her promises to my Father that I was to receive her collection.

Sad but true... I got a CD of Beach Boys in late 80s as a gift from husband 😁
