So I just looked at Nordstrom's site and there are those YSL purses going for $1780. There's something crazy right there.
Anyone who buys one of these from a questionable source should know they are contributing to the violence and theft, and anyone who goes into the store to buy them should ask themselves why? I bought a cute little cross-body purse that looks just like one of them, only without the YSL, for about twenty dollars a few weeks ago. I wish I hadn't wasted that money because I can't get used to the long strap.
Why does anyone need a designer label to tell everyone else how much money they have to waste? Remember when an "expensive" purse was one made of real leather that cost about twice as much as the cheap one? Not 100 times as much, just twice as much. Why are we such slaves to the fashion industry? It's one thing to pay more for quality but paying more for a label is just nuts.
