Downsized for web, at Salt Point State Park. Sony a6700 30mm lens 3 column stitch blend focus stack of 20 shots. May 20, 2024 at 8:38am, worked this seascape. The sea was quite roiled due to large waves and I only work seascapes during uncommon days with lighter breezes.

I don't want much whitewater foam because that is so bright, nor white foam behind any plants sticking up at the bluff edge, so waited for the surface to quiet a bit between waves. Lichen on tafoni sandstone boulders, sea thrift, California goldfields. Across the rocky cove on the bluff terrace, greens from rattlesnake grass plus patches of goldfields and on the headland rocks, a lone seagull.
