I'll say this - I caught Lady Gaga singing the National Anthem and MAN that lady has a set of pipes - I'd pay those prices just to hear her sing.

Well most people who can afford to go to the Superbowl...aren't going to give a second thought to those outrageous prices! Even if my Honey and I could afford to go...we wouldn't as at our age watching it on our big screen while comfy in our favorite chair and the couch is the way we like to do it now.

While the NFL and Superbowl vendors at the stadium were gouging the obsessed fans local businesses & restaurants had at least a 40% drop in business due to detours and probably security policy. The city is considering reimbursing businesses that lost money.

Wait a minute, I thought hosting mega events were supposed to be good for a city. So they bring in a mega event hopefully to generate taxable revenue yet will have to spend a lot of those taxes on anything from security & traffic control to reimbursing the business it supposed to be good for???
