Bikie Wars continue.

With all these headlines every day, I am honestly starting to believe that the police are waiting for them to just kill each other.

The murder of a slain gangland killer's nephew is the latest in a long list of public place shootings across Sydney.
Rami Iskander was related to slain gangster Mahmoud "Brownie" Ahmad, who was shot dead at Greenacre two weeks ago earlier.
His death came just days after the attempted killing of bikie boss Tarek Zahed and the deadly shooting of his brother Omar in the latest of what police say are bloody tit-for-tat gangland crimes plaguing the city.

The shootings often follow a familiar pattern: the victim is sprayed with bullets before a stolen car, or sometimes two, is found set on fire in a nearby suburb.
Some of these crimes have been linked to an ongoing gangland war between rival crime networks in the area, while others remain unsolved.
The Alameddine and Hamzy families have been linked to a number of them - while others have been attributed to bikies, with several prominent members executed.
This is not an exhaustive account of all shootings or gang-related crimes, but paints a picture of the blood spilled on streets across the city in the past decade. Some deaths have been omitted from this list because of legal reasons.

Time line

Speaking personally, it's not so much that they are at war and killing each other that disturbs me; it is the business that they are in. Drugs and arms smuggling are issues that need police attention. However, these crime families are very tight lipped and unco-operative and they continue their trade in death. We seldom hear very much about the misery that they have caused to young people sucked into their deadly web.

I've been wtching late '40's crime movies lately. Many of them involve organized crime. I was somewhat shocked to hear it is happening in Sydney. I thought all that was really dangerous was white collar crime ( except for mass shootings ) these days . I wonder if this is true around the world in very big cities.?

You haven't got it on your own. For as long as I can remember there has been a gang problem in this country, gotten worse since the last Aussie prime minister deported any gang member born in New Zealand regardless of their length of stay in Australia, some for most of their life.
""A surge in gang violence in Auckland has Opposition parties eyeing up strict anti-bikie laws in Australia to see if something similar could be introduced in New Zealand.

A tit-for-tat gang war between the Tribesmen and Killer Beez gangs has had Aucklanders on edge for weeks, following a number of brazen shootings across the city.""

It's not just Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland have the same problem.
These people do not give a damn about innocent people caught up in their goal for domination, they have had a shoot by at a local gym and preschool and have hijacked a woman and her child to get their car in broad daylight.
They just don't care, it's only a matter of time before an innocent person gets killed.

Yes, I remember the PM doing that, I have no idea what he was thinking.
I am so sorry this happening to your wonderful country.
