Wednesday I put an item on my "Wish List" for $49.00 to watch it..Today ("Black Friday") it is going for $59.95!!!!Needless to say I am very disappointed with Amazon!!!
It's not just Amazon. Yesterday, when we were at the daughters house for Thanksgiving, I browsed through a bunch of Black Friday ads in the city newspaper. I found several items that were advertised on sale for more than the stores normally charge. IMO, this Black Friday stuff is just a bunch of Hype designed to get people in the stores and brainwash them into thinking they are getting a bargain. If a person hasn't done some price comparison ahead of time, there is a good chance they will be paying more for a lot of these "specials".

Lara, do you have a link for that claim? With out I am going to call bullshit. MAybe the company did 2 b in sales in one day, but revenue/profit, I highly doubt it. Bezos? most certainly did not profit 2b personally in one day,unless he sold his company.
