Bob Newhart Has Died @ 94

I hesitate to do these death announcements because there are usually repeats... but it's not been posted so far.
RIP Bob... thanks for the laughs.

'Professor Proton' kept me watching.

He was a great one. The last episode of his sitcom that reverted back to his first ditcom series was probably the best series ending I've ever seen.

Twenty years ago, when he was 74, Bob said, "I think you should be a child for as long as you can. I have been successful for 74 years being able to do that."

I think that's a very worthwhile goal to try to achieve.

He could be cerebral, deadpan, and droll. Echoes of his style may be seen in other comedians, even Jack Benny and Steven Wright. Always 100% clean, too. He had a comedic niche few others could occupy, but was relatable. I’ll miss him…
