anyone else still have things they had as a kid?
Never heard them called that before, but what it is!"Cowboy Supper" is what I used to call it when I made my kids pork'n'beans with sliced hot dogs stirred in. They made it for their kids and still called it Cowboy Supper.
My mom made that too! She didn't put in Lima beans, though. She put in garbanzo beans sometimes, otherwise, no kind of beans. My Mom always made on a Monday night a soup that was called The wedding soup. It was delicious except for the Lima beans she added to it.I hated lima beans so when my Mom wasn't looking my older sister would sneak them out of my Bowl. I still make the soup, but never with Lima beans.

Just a large can of pork and beans and about half-a-pkg of wieners. They had that for dinner when money was tight. Another one was fried potato, onion and eggs topped with cheese..."Golden Crown Supper"Never heard them called that before, but what it is!![]()
