Hello and good evening,
Now mention the name Allan titchmarsh in the uk and your thinking of gardening and all things gardens,
But ive just finshed one of his serious writing's ( The last lighhouse keeper) and im now on the second book again nothing to do with gardening but another serious book call Rosie,
I must say im very pleased with both these books as they make good light hearted reading, ie the tell a story without to much sex / Blood & nothing at the end of the story.
So if your after a good simple to read book for bed time and would try these two.

I like Alan Titchmarsh, listening to him when he's talking is like hearing a bed time story when you're a kid, he has such a relaxing voice, but I wouldn't be reading his novels simply because I don't read fiction..

Off topic, sorry
Goodness Dolly, I didn't think we'd hear anything form you for at least a couple of days. I sure hope the neurosurgeon got rid of whatever it was that was pressing on your nerves. Hope you're feeling much better.

Accch I'm made of stern stuff Josiah....or so my Doc says..*stoical* she calls it..but she doesn't see me screaming behind 4 walls lol;)......this latest procedure wasn't for my back.. I had the BIG one in March, still recovering from that albeit slowly, but better than I was for the first 6 weeks..that was a big trial and a LOT of pain.. , this was for something entirely different , ..but bless you for your kind thoughts Josiah.. :love_heart:

Back on topic Alan Titchmarsh ...sorry whisteria.. :)

I also hope your getting better and now the summers here its a good time to get over any form of being unwell,
Keep smiling and get "back" to your being you (get back get it bum bum):)

I remember some years ago Alan Titchmarsh winning a prize for writing the worst sex scene in a novel, I think he has toned down his earlier more raunchy novels :)
