Do you think the US politicians and US policy doesn't effect you?

I think the British impact us in the US. You are and have been for a long time one of, if not our strongest ally, a significant trading partner, and something of a role model for us. And a lot of people move back and forth and intermarry with us. So I believe Boris and things like Brexit have real impacts on us, maybe not so much as on you, but some.

This is the frustrating thing about Boris. He does have it in him to be a good politician. He just seems to prefer treating everything as trivial.

I always wondered WTH he was thinking walking around with that "hairdo"! Did he not know how ridiculous he looked? Haven't seen the news today so this is the first I'm "hearing" about his departure. @hollydolly without getting political, will this change be for the better or worse do you think?

I must have missed that. As an American, I'm very interested at how things are playing out in the U.K. but I guess we can't discuss it beyond his hair.

From what I have read and told by a few other Brits that when he first entered office, he was very popular, but when the woke crowd took over he changed to become part of the crowd and became a disappointment to the Brits that thought he was going to be a different type of politician. I think the man knew he disappointed many of his followers and supporters and thought it best to resign. At least he knew what he needed to do. We are still waiting.

Ok you're being pedantic.. the USA much as they think they rule the world don't rule us.. nor do they declare war on us, so unless they directly affect my life I wouldn't dream of being so insulting..

I have no idea tbh Diva.. obviously I'm hoping that it will be better.. Boris did have his faults, but my fear is that there's no-one ready to be leader, I can only hope that I'm proven wrong

Ok, we do not "rule" the world, and i for one would not want to but . As I have said before , if it doesnt sell in the U.S. basically it won't sell at all. Repeating I know but , rock musicians , singers in general, actors, golfers, etc, and so-on . Come here to "make it" . I don't really get it either but that's just it way it is.

As somone once said .... America sneezes & the world catches cold.
