Does anyone else enjoy the British Comedies such as "Keeping Up Appearances" and "Are You Being Served" (although they are in about the 100th rerun)? I especially love Hyacinth and her candlelight suppers. Once even had a 'Hyacinth" for a neighbor. In person not so funny.

They're terrific, I don't watch them these days, but, I did on occasion in the past, or any time I used to run across them late nights. But then I like a lot of British TV, when available, I've watched quite a few of the the dramas on Netflix.

Yup!

To the Manor Born, Are You Being Served, Faulty Towers, Last of the Summer Wine, As Time Goes By, The Vicar of Dibley.

I also get a kick out of the more recent and irreverent Mrs Brown's Boys.

I love the Britcoms!!! Watch them every Saturday night!!!

And like Grampa Don, I especially love Last of the Summer Wine.

Great shows!!!

Aunt Bea, All great shows. I have not seen Mrs. Brown's Boys but I'm going to look it up. I've recently moved and have a different PBS outlet so don't yet know all they broadcast. Yeah, I know. That's what the GUIDE is for.

I laughed myself silly watching the Mrs. Brown episode when she/he did the self- bikini wax removal.

She fanned herself with her apron in front of the open refrigerator door. LMAO!

One Foot in the Grave, which gave us the old grump, Victor Muldrew, and Waiting For God, a classic sendup of the idiots running retirement homes, are two of my favorites. I also loved Last Tango in Halifax, although technically speaking, that wasn't a sitcom, more of a series. But definitely very British, and absolutely wonderful.

There was a fun series of "Mind your language" 1977 with Barry Evans. Pity he came to a sticky end.
A bunch of students from all over the globe get to learn English in a London's school with lots of ongoing laugh getters
