Brrrrrrr.

Pretty cold here too Ike. (You'd think our wild fires would warm things up.)

Falcon, I grew up in Sunland/Tujunga. It breaks my heart to see the devastation there, and all around SoCal. Hope you are safe where you are.

It's only 24 F right now in Ohio. I don't want to go out. It's not that windy right now, though. I turned my heat way up..I'm feeling so cold.

We had a cold front roll in last night and the temp now is 23º with a wind chill of -13º.

I guess I shouldn't have complained about it being cold yesterday morning......right now we're at 14º with a wind chill of -16º.

It's 25 degrees here right now, according to my computer weather report. Last week we were running around in tee shirts. Sort of a shock to the system.

The snowband that hit areas north and south of Buffalo overnight, has made an appearance in the city where I live. When I went on my 1st walk about 6:30,wind was blowing but I could see where I was going.I'd say we have 4 inches,a winter weather advisory in effect until 10am,temp right now is 28. I'm use to walking in all sorts of snow condtions,I can handle this Sue

My nephew's wife posted this picture of their house in Houston. Sometimes we get a dusting here in Phoenix but that is understandable because the desert can get cold but Houston ?

I woke up to 11 degrees this morning...a slight breeze probably puts the wind chill into the low single digits. I hustled outdoors for a couple of minutes and loaded up the wood furnace, then right back in...today will be in indoor day. It should warm up a bit by Sunday, but the long range forecast looks like a series of Arctic fronts coming into the US for the next couple of weeks.....up and down temps every 3 or 4 days.

We got our first snowflakes about 10 am, but temps were 35F and rising. Supposed to get to 25F tonight, but precipitation has moved out. :)

Shucks! We only got a little dusting, as you can see on my back deck, just a moment ago.
I hope we get a deeper one before Christmas. But at least, this put us in a mood for the season.
