I broke down about an hour ago and turned the furnace on for the first time this fall......the inside temp was 69 deg. which is just a tad brisk, especially when stepping out of the shower.
We've had no sun for two days and a cold front with a northerly wind came rolling in yesterday noon and our wind chills have been in the mid 40's all day with rain moving in later this evening and tomorrow.
I'm glad to see the mid and high 90's of summer gone but gawd I hate to see the cold blustery days of winter arrive.......anyone else had to use their furnace yet ?
