I don;'t follow my hometown professional football team, the Buffalo Bills I prefer college football,
When the team won yesterdays' game 27-24 over Jacksonville Jaguars, the 1st time they made it into playoffs since 1999
I was amused when I heard die hard fans kept saying' We're going to the Super Bowl', not knowing the team has to play another game, next week against Denver Broncos

I saw the game. Great game of football. The fans got all hyped up and emotional. They know they play more games to get to the super bowl. People always lie when they get overly excited.

the Bills have made the playoffs plenty of times recently! They haven't had a drought since 2017. Also, the Super Bowl is still a few weeks away, so they'd have to win a couple more games after the Broncos to get there.

Wife and I were invited to our son's house to watch the Philadelphia Eagles play the San Francisco 49ers.

My DIL is a hugh Eagle fan, growing up in Philly.
My wife's cousin played for the 49ers (He has 2 Superbowl Rings)
I became a 49er fan when I married her.

Another relative of hers is currently playing for the Eagles. (He has one Superbowl Ring)
I found myself cheering for the Eagles, hoping he had a chance to play in another Superbowl.

This made for an interesting game for me.
Now I can just cheer for the 49ers the rest of the way...

I had a feeling the Texans' defense was going to shut down the Steelers offense in last night's game, and they did. The Texans shut down Josh Allen a few weeks ago, and he is far more mobile than 42 y/o Aaron Rogers. They could do the same thing to the Patriots in the next round.

As the age old saying goes - - - - -"Time will tell !"
