so I am sitting and watching a show on TV and one of the story lines was about a freelance writer....he took a story to the editor the New York Times and wanted it printed....after a lengthy discussion the editor said "what do you want?" "I want a by line in the Times." "if we use your story we will give you a by line in the New York Times." I thought I want one of those........then after thinking about it for a while I said...no I don't need one, I have a by line in two papers monthly and one weekly and I am content....OK if the Times were to call I might send them something :)
 

that is why there are editors to make sure you write what you mean not what you type...hope I fixed it ...

Illustrated by, "Betty Don't"
