CA’s Sikh Temples help out disaster victims

I ran across this in my Atlas Obscura wanderings. I had never seen anything about this before. At a time when anti-immigrant attacks are becoming more common - especially as Sikhs are so often mis-identified as Muslims, which they are NOT - I thought others might enjoy a “feel good” read to start off 2020 on a positive note:

Sikh Temples aid CA disaster victims

Nice article. About 6 or 7 years ago a Sikh temple was built about a mile or so down the road.

Of course they do. The Sikhs are lovely people.
Five Sikh men recently downed tools to cook meals for people in fire ravaged rural Australia at their own expense.
