Cable bill increased over $7 from last month

We are getting fiber networking in our area. I don’t know much about it and until I figure it out, I am not joining in.

Glo Fiber.

And I thought my internet connection two cell phones with no limit on texting ,calls even interntional, netflix, apple tv, hulu & peacock streaming for a total of $140.00 a month was high.

I used to have cable years ago and had it disconnected. I can't imagine paying for cable anymore unless that's the only possible way to watch TV. Maybe there is poor reception in some areas, but I get 30 + stations on broadcast TV using just a leaf antenna, and I'm over 50 miles from network stations.

BBC America is a cable channel.
Someone I know has an OTA antenna and only get about 15 channels - only local TV affiliates.
When I had a regular television at previous apartment, and needed to use a converter box and rabbit-ears antenna, I didn't get nearly as many channels.

I don't know what accounts for the difference, but I don't need nearly as many as I currently have with this small t.v. device. and of course with that many, they're not all local or affiliates.

We have T-Mobile as our internet provider, the modem was free. The only increase of $1.50 was for Netflix premium when Netflix raised that service price. Two cell phones with unlimited text & calls anywhere in the world & great internet speeds cost a total of $128.50 a month.
The same kind of service was well over $200.00 a month with Cox cable with no streaming.
I have had T-Mobile for 6 years now and my internet/tv is rarely if ever down like the cable company here neighbors use.
Don't believe that guy out there on the plains kicking tumbleweeds believe Billy Bob Thornton!
