If that wasn't enough, my town tax bill went up $91 from last year.
Same here. Roku is how tv is supposed to be. After all these years I'm still finding things I never heard of or forgot about. The federal subsidy that paid part of qualified people's cable bill ended early this year.
My internet increased by $40/mo.
I don't get cable TV. I have Roku, so "cable channels" are free.
I don't know what BBC America is.. but when I scan it usually brings in 40+ channels, so I'm ok with it.But that can only get OTA local channels. What if I want to watch BBC America?
When I had a regular television at previous apartment, and needed to use a converter box and rabbit-ears antenna, I didn't get nearly as many channels.BBC America is a cable channel.
Someone I know has an OTA antenna and only get about 15 channels - only local TV affiliates.
Woah! Does that include anything else, like phone, internet, whatever?Received my cable statement by email. Up almost $25 from last month. Now paying $287.01 a month.
I have had T-Mobile for 6 years now and my internet/tv is rarely if ever down like the cable company here neighbors use.We have T-Mobile as our internet provider, the modem was free. The only increase of $1.50 was for Netflix premium when Netflix raised that service price. Two cell phones with unlimited text & calls anywhere in the world & great internet speeds cost a total of $128.50 a month.
The same kind of service was well over $200.00 a month with Cox cable with no streaming.
