Cable Channel HGTV Beat CNN In The Ratings During An Election Year

The cable channel HGTV or the home and garden channel beat CNN in the tv rating during this election year. Many feel the non political content was the attraction. Saturation coverage of one thing might keep some viewers but I don't see it attracting new ones.

ALL of the News networks were a pain in the rear during the 3 or 4 months leading to the elections. One would have thought that there was Nothing happening in the world, other than this election. Now, half their time is being spent on Trumps "tweets"....between endless Ask your Doctor commercials. It's a good thing we have the Internet, otherwise we would have no idea of what is happening outside of Washington.
