For me, the thing, which terrifies me the most, is when I walk into my kitchen, there is a place that is cold, and drains the life out of you. That's where my ex used to stand.

My house has cold spots -- it's usually a draft or in the front bedroom where I keep the door closed to conserve heat in the rest of the house I actually use.

If cold spots are a measure of haunting, then I've got a whole battalion of ghosts. I wish they'd earn their keep by helping out with the dusting.
