Our dog is a pretty boy
Our dog is a pretty boy
Perhaps I goofed. I just read that it might be my cargo shorts that are driving the ladies wild. Baggy shorts with pockets stuffed with tools, fast food wrappers, pencils, water bottle, and yesterday’s mail flyers are just to irresistible. .
It makes me so sad when people laugh at other people. This is kind of off the subject, but when I worked at the hospital, we had a man they brought in on a stretcher to be weighed on the loading dock every month. He was obviously too big to weigh on regular scales. He was such a nice man. He was talking to me one day and what he said broke my heart. He said that he couldn't even sit out on his porch because when people walked by they would point at him and laugh at him. He laid there and was bawling as he told me this. We're talking about adults not children! To this day, it makes me angry and want to cry when I think of him.Walking from the parking lot a man, quite over weight was walking in front of me.
You couldn't help but notice him. He was dressed in a big flowing bright red shirt with black and white pattern, very bold shirt.
Bright red new name brand sneakers, black baggy pants and a bright red bandana across his brow.
I watched him walking tall and proud with a purposeful stride, looking around to see if anyone was looking his way.
I had to think, the clothes and new shoes definitely make this man feel awesome and desirable.
You could tell he took a lot of effort to have the shade of red match perfectly.
For that day at least he was living a dream and I had to smile.
Others were sideways laughing at him, and that saddened me.
We all need at least, that one day of living a dream.
Is it really so hard to let them live it?
I have 2 Special needs grandchildren so I know that hurt too, no sorry's needed. Thank goodness there people out there whoIt makes me so sad when people laugh at other people. I guess I should have posted this under the pet peeves category because I can't stand nor have time for supposed adults that make fun of other people. I have (or had) an older brother who was a "slow learner". We won't even go through the awful things that people would say or do to him. Sorry Irish Eyes, you hit a raw nerve.
For me Alain Delon is one of the world’s most handsome men. He was the first male I thought extraordinary. I was 10.not really
I wouldn't know, but I sure would like to try itOn the flip side, can a woman be toooo gorgeous?? Lol
My thoughts exactly. Samantha is kind of cute but she’s far from beautiful! I think her attitude towards other women is self induced.Samantha is kinda cute, but she is not beautiful!
Oh well, live and let live.
Just my opinion.

Confidence is good, but having an inflated ego is not. While others might think she's "beautiful," I don't. In fact, even if she were stunning, her conceit would turn me off.
I fell for a beautiful woman, and it worked out, but it didn't.
There was always some guy chasing her, and once in a while she'd let them catch her.
It wasn't my best decision.
Now she's old, and thanks to hard drinking and chain smoking, she looks 15 years older than she is.
If I had it all to do again...........................
Over the years, I've learned that intelligence, confidence, humor and a good heart are far more important than looks.

That's called "jealousy".
