I've been looking for what seems to be forever to find a forum that looks like "me" and don't know how I could have missed this one. I live in the Atlanta area in a granny flat at my DD's house, transplanted from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan four years ago.

Do you suppose there are other Yoopers here or others from way northern Wisconsin or the Lower Peninsula of Michigan?
 

Ok. I won't cheat:) But geez, I registered this morning and you're the only one who's replied. I DID take a shower this morning so know it's not that I smell funny!
 

I'm sure there'll be others. We have people from all time zones around the world. Some are here early in the morning and some late in the day.

I lived in Michigan (Pontiac) during the war years but only remember most of it from pictures. I was just a baby when we moved there and not yet 5 when we left.

Hi Georgia. Took a memorable trip to Sault Ste.Marie, while living in NE Ohio many years back. Took a tour ride on the Soo Locks. I was impressed with the area.

It's morning again. Isn't it odd how that happens every day about this time?

Since I don't go back to work until tomorrow, there will be lots of time to browse the threads and just butt my skinny self in...as soon as I have some breakfast and run some errands and weed the flower garden and tidy up and scoop the litter box. And stuff. BBL!
