Can men ever know what a woman wants?Don’t take this seriously.....

Oh, I agree that this is pretty sexist posting. This is fine with me because I love "politically incorrect" postings. I have to smile due to the fact that my last wife and I were soul mates and we almost knew all the time what the other person was thinking. She was a wonderful gal and we had many happy adventures together and yes, I miss her everyday. You just don't find women like her "growing on trees."
Mrstime, it would be inappropriate for me to ask someone's age, but no one should really have been old enough to have joined this forum to know that yes, many men are probably as you say, "Interested in one thing", and most like being sexist on a joke thread, (guilty as charged on being sexist on a joke thread, though whether we're actually being sexist or telling the truth, "the juries still out on that one"!).

However, as we're on a joke thread I can tell you of a former work colleague of mine, whose sage comment went something like this, " Before you're married you think sex is so good you wish you could eat it, after you've married you wish you had"! :)

I'm 82, married to the same man 65 years come June 10,. He actually likes women and sex a great combination. I have been the most fortunate of women!

Let me get this straight,.............."shy, retiring, (NOT), forum best friend could not handle all the attention that would most certainly be lavished upon him if surrounded by large group of forum ladies"(?). Tough sell and I'm not buying it at all!!
Hey, grahammy-
It's never good to get too deep inside a woman's head
Gotta keep it light
Requested chores.....fixing things.....frolic......cuddle.....humor
Everthing else is for wimin....with wimin

As far as 'a large group'?!!!

Nada

Have you never been admired by large groups of wimmin then, (apologies I had had this vision of an Adonis surrounded by a crowd of clammering beauties! :) ).
Okay, "Not get too deep"- check!
"Keep it light"- check!
"Chores, fixing things, frolic, cuddles, humour"- check!
(well "fixing more things than I break" will have to do in my case, but the rest is "nailed down/on"!) :) :) :)

Can men ever know what a woman wants?

If us fellas evolve for another 1000years, then we may just get an inkling, because women are the most wonderfully complex creatures on the planet. They have very powerful eyes that can make us sort of float on the air, or roast us like a chicken in the oven.

This fella might be on to something... 😊

Have you ever heard of "petticoat government", (my father used to go on about those he believed were ruled in this way! :) ).

If a woman TELLS a man what she wants, men could understand women better, or just act dumb.

Men might have a better chance of finding out what women want if they quit wanting them to want what they want them to want.
Run that past me again?

"Quit wanting something we shouldn't be wanting", (is that it in a nutshell? Wow, a bit tricky I'd say, but who knows you may be on to something, ......, like quit wanting "love making" maybe??????:whistle::sneaky:(n)).

Or they’d just label her as a *itch.

Now I’m going away to bite my tongue. This thread was supposed to be kept light, as suggested by the title.

Read the post immediately below yours to see whether someone has found a way of keeping it fun for those prepared to have their legs pulled, of desiring to do the same to others! :)

No Graham,, you're wrong, but you've given a perfect example of what I meant. You just guessed about what I might be talking about, then assumed you were right to the point of four judgmental emoticons! Also, I didn't say what you put in quotes I said, "Men might have a better chance of finding out what women want if they quit wanting them to want what they want them to want."

Here's a better example. My husband used to say he knew a lot about "girls" because he had eight sisters. The truth was, he knew a lot about those sisters who were all pretty much alike due to being raised by the same mother, but he knew very little about women in general and even less about me in particular. He must have heard his sisters say they liked to get flowers for gifts. So, in spite of all my hints to the contrary he usually gets me flowers for our anniversary and my birthday.

In short, he doesn't really want to know what I want. It might involve effort like finding my size or remembering which writers I like. He wants me to want flowers because all he has to do is walk into Kroger and grab a bunch.

I dont think emoticons can be judgmental can they, but even if they can mine were intended as "leg pulling emoticons", (as per my ridiculous suggestion/example as to what I thought you might mean!!!!!!! 🤬).

My heads still spinning as to what you do mean I have to say ,...., your poor hubby had eight sisters the unfortunate devil, I had just five and believe me that was no cake walk! 😭😤😡🤯😳🥵,......., leg pulling emoticons again btw, though as they've gotten older (- the sisters I mean), the trouble they've caused you wouldn't believe, though our dear mother seemed to know what was coming, (or she tried to warn me anyway :cautious: ).
