Can we talk about Bonnie Raitt?

At 71, she won a Grammy for her song, Made Up Mind. She was up against current artists Adele and Lizzo. The song describes someone slowly leaving a toxic relationship. Chalk up one for the Seniors!

Meh, there's nothing unique or superlative about the song. Had that song been released in the '70s, it would have been filler on an album.

Bonnie is one of my favorite musician/singers! She has more "soul" in her little finger than most recording "artists".

As of 2023, Raitt has received thirteen competitive Grammy Awards, as well as a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She was ranked number 50 in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time", and was placed on the magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".
