Many years ago, I stepped on a medium-sized dark colored snake one night. I was walking up to my front door entrance.
It was dark, and he was dark. ....eewwwwwww
When I think of it, I can still feel him under my foot. ... We both ran in different directions. nthego:

Pappy I blew it up, the lower red circle is the snake's head, then it continues up in an "s" shape, top circle in nearer to the tail.

All I could see was the small centre loop of the snake off to the left.

Copperhead ? ... they are common in my part of the country. And they are definitely poisonous.
