Can you understand today's slang?

If you look back to the spoken language of 150 years ago,
you wouldn't really understand that either.

You should try them on mental arithmetic, they will think that
you are magic because you didn't use a calculator, or computer,
or even fingers, plus your lips didn't move.

Very entertaining and no I have no idea what they mean, I
have heard "Woke", but am not really sure about it.

A: "get a job or you'll wind up living on the streets"

B: "I do work at Thirty Third & Third"

The main character in the novel I'm writing has a teenage son. I think I'll have him use a bit of today's slang. Here's a translation that I found:

Dope - Cool or awesome
GOAT - "Greatest of All Time"
Gucci - Good, cool, or going well
Lit - Amazing, cool, or exciting
OMG - An abbreviation for "Oh my gosh" or "Oh my God"
Salty - Bitter, angry, agitated
Sic/Sick - Cool or sweet
Snatched - Looks good, perfect, or fashionable; the new "on fleek"
Fire - Hot, trendy, amazing, or on point (formerly "straight fire")
TBH - To be honest
Tea - Gossip, situation, story, or news
Thirsty - Trying to get attention
YOLO - "You Only Live Once" (often used ironically)
