Canadian Man Arrested for Assisting Suicides

As a psych nurse, I remember the first time I asked a patient if he was suicidal. The way he said "yes", I knew if I let him out of my sight, he'd be dead. And when I was in the ICU, with tubes coming out of my body and in great pain, I wanted it to end. The only thing that stopped me was I was never alone in the ICU. In both those instances, nobody had to "assist". Unless you are a total quadriplegic, there are ways to kill yourself. The people, who need "assistance" aren't ready to die. And when you're ready to die, you don't need "assistance". Law is a serial killer posing as some kind of suicide guru.

Well, whether death by your own hand is a valid response to whatever ails you is one thing. Selling the means to do so globally from your apartment is another. HE can't possibly have known what his materials were being used for - suicide, or murder? So he's been rightly arrested.

I plan on staying alive, but there are some diseases I'd rather not live through, so I have mixed feelings about it all.
