Shali,there are so many people who receive welfare but don't deserve it.I know of at least 3 people that are taking advantage of it,worrking under the table at the same time.

Do youu know what a friends answer was (she works in gov office) as to why they dont try tofind these abusers of the system? Because it would cost more to pay officialls to look for them.

I have another friend who gets disability becaause of knee issuess and she gambles it away.

These are not easy times,the unemployment rate is very high,I ddont think he should raaise welfare benefits.don't forget that along with the money every month,they also have free dental allong with other benefits.

I don't think people apprecciate what we have.
Pierre Trudeau was PM back in 84'.that's over 30 years.a lot has happened since and Justin won't be able to fix it in 6 months.

I can understand where you are coming from.you are seeing it first hand.

Its sad that there are people who need it and are struggling ,and I have seen the other side through the years of people taking advantage of it.
