Canned Potatoes. Are They Edible?

Remy, when you move you might want to consider getting a stove top convection oven. Find one big enough to hold a 9"x13" pan, and you won't miss your full sized oven. Most days I cook for just me, so I don't need to use my big oven. I only use my big oven for braising something like a large pot roast or when I need to use a sheet pan. Everything else goes in the smaller convection oven.
There was a thread here I was watching with interest. I'll research more if I'm ever able to have the counter space. Here, there is just no room. But it sounds like a good suggestion. I'm sure uses less electricity with the way prices are going up.

Now don't all laugh at me , but today I learned that you can buy canned chicken !!!

I was watching a YT video of an American cooking low carb food, and she was using canned chicken..like the size of a little tuna fish can.. I was like.. Woah, who would eat that ?.. so I googled our various supermarkets and sure enough they sell it too.. I had no idea it was a thing.. !! lol
I buy canned chicken! And, I like it. The can is a little bigger than your tuna can, but it's still flaked like tuna.
I add some mayo and a little cut up white onion, if I have one.

I'll make a sandwich, or use my little 3" Lahvosh crackers as a dipper.

Yes, less electricity, and it doesn't heat up the kitchen as much in the summertime.

OH blow... I've just been grocery shopping, I meant to look out for the canned chicken.. completely forgot all about it..

I "second" Bella's post (#75) I have a counter top (Oster brand) - the oven will accommodate pans 15 x 14 1/2 x 13 3/4 inches. One of the great advantages: IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO BEND TO BRING HOT DISHESS OUT OF THE OVEN (ie safer_)
