CAPTCHA Links Showing Up?

For at least the past two day, CAPTCHA links keep popping up in various replies.

Anyone else getting them? I just ignore them.

No CAPTCHA for me here... ever. Seems a strange place for them! I'm doing replies on both laptop and tablet and no problems whatsoever with either.

I do lots of paid surveys online and there are captchas on most of them. They are a pain in the ass as it is hard to read most of them.

The latest version of captchas use AI and doesn't put the user through any tests to verify that they are human. These new captchas monitor the behavior of your keystrokes and mouse interaction.

Just an example of what was happening to me. I finally thought of another way to a screen shot of what I was getting. This was just random, not associated with any user that I could tell.

Thanks for posting the screenshot, @Supernatural , I have no clue, it doesn't make sense to display a captcha there, you are merely reading a thread. Is it possible some browser addon is messing up your browser? Sorry, I have no idea.

It was me (Jules) that posted the screenshot. That was just an example of one of many that showed up over a couple of days. It seems to have quit once I posted about it.

If it’s some browser addon (ipad), does anyone know how to search and destroy it.

Oh, I got it. It's Google who showed the captcha to you. There is a Youtube video in that post, somehow Google find your behavior suspicious and want to verify if you are a human. Solve the captcha and it will appease Google for a while.

Lots of youtube videos were embedded into the forum posts, solve one captcha and all others will disappear too, otherwise you will continue seeing them in all posts with youtube videos. I think it's well worth it.
