I was looking at Hondas and where the prices used to be posted, it says "Call for pricing." Why can't they just show the price?
Because they want to fast-talk you.I was looking at Hondas and where the prices used to be posted, it says "Call for pricing." Why can't they just show the price?
T'weren't funny... but we all laughed. Sadly, I suspect that is a true statement.Because they don't wanna keep printing out the prices that are changing by the week.
They do whatever they can to maximize profit, get the most from the cars possible. Why can't they just show the price?
Is it imperative that you buy Honda? Try and get their prices online from elsewhere, either that or go for another brand.I was looking at Hondas and where the prices used to be posted, it says "Call for pricing." Why can't they just show the price?
Good idea, or you could wait a year or so for things to return to normal.Try and get their prices online from elsewhere, either that or go for another brand.
The Instruction Manual starts with the Lord's Prayer.Look for a Yugo.
My experience also - I have found Honda and Subaru to be as good.I will always drive a Toyota as you get the most for your money and they last forever if you take care of them! Just my experience with them through the years.
Me too!I shop the dealer websites, and nearly all of them want people to "call for pricing". That is due to the shortage of both new and nice used cars, and in todays market, the prices are Way above where they should be.
We've been thinking about swapping our big Impala for a compact SUV, but until this market settles down, we're staying with what we have.
I will point out that Honda, Toyota, Subaru, and other "Japanese " car makers build their cars in both Canada and the USA. So do VW, BMW, and Mercedes. The days of the Big Three are far gone. JimB.My experience also - I have found Honda and Subaru to be as good.
Wish it was not so, over the years I have tried buying American, a number of GM products and a Ford once. Never lasted as long or were as reliable as the Japanese. I would like to support our industries, but guess I want a reliable car even more...
They're too ashamed to post the prices.Me too!
Only final assembly is sometimes completed in the U.S. And only a certain percent of parts are U.S. That info is on the window sticker.I will point out that Honda, Toyota, Subaru, and other "Japanese " car makers build their cars in both Canada and the USA. Hey, don't bad mouth my Yugo.Look for a Yugo.
I feel the same about Honda. I have been driving the same vehicle for the past 17 years. Only got 132K on it. Knock on wood that it keeps going because I don't want to buy in this overpriced market.I will always drive a Toyota as you get the most for your money and they last forever if you take care of them! Just my experience with them through the years.
