I know. I've been alone much of my life. Even when around others. I guess it's what I'm used to. I have to remind myself sometimes that there are good people in the world.Other. Being alone too much. It's too much. It has changed me.
...and yet you're probably the wisest person on this forum...I create most of the stress in my life by overthinking things.
I attribute it to living alone and having unlimited time to turn things over in my mind.

Don't try taking my February angst away. What would we be without stress? A bunch of lumps sitting around waiting for our next meal. I see it every day.Wouldn't it be more important to have thread that talks both about what causes stress and what folks do to reduce it? Just asking.
LOL! I've always left it out. Many people pronounce it without the "r" anyway.![]()
You are very kind hollydolly.I've been in all those places believe me.... I know how you must be feeling, so please use this forum as a place where the natives are on your side..![]()
Understandable. We need people to talk to, even if it’s trivial.Other. Being alone too much. It's too much. It has changed me.

I feel for you.... aside from health issues, there's not a lot worse than noisy neighbours especially if you live in a flat ... in fact it can even cause health issues..My neighbours. I'm a very quiet person and I have noisy neighbours. I need to live in the middle of nowhere!
Me too. Fortunately, it mostly in the summer. No backyard parties when it's below zero!My neighbours. I'm a very quiet person and I have noisy neighbours. I need to live in the middle of nowhere!
Oddly enough I believe having money can cause stress, just as having none creates the stress of not knowing where your next meal is coming from, but there has to be a reason why so many winning lottery tickets go unclaimed beyond folks losing their ticket, or forgetfulness! What causes you the most stress in your life?
1) family
2) work
3) living conditions
4) health
5) outlook on life
6) the world situation
7) other (specify)

I found a strength of tolerance inside myself when my child tried to wind me up, for example by tapping my face around my eyes, whilst we were in a very quiet church, when telling her to desist, causing a fuss etc would have been tricky.I don't understand what you are saying
