Amazing Moose! But what's with the Dad saying to the Moose
"Ya gotta' beer there bud? ya just gonna send it huh? yeah? Ya just gonna send it?"
There is a brand of beer called 'Moose Drool' and anthropomorphized Moose in fishing gear and other things feature on their labels, so that might be the reference. Or could just be an 'Alaska' thing.Amazing Moose! But what's with the Dad saying to the Moose

I think feywon is correct. There is a brand of beer called 'Moose Drool' and anthropomorphized Moose in fishing gear and other things feature on their labels, so that might be the reference. Or could just be an 'Alaska' thing.
This also put me in mind of a story told me by a guy i dated in Honolulu. He was a Tlingit from BC, Canada--grew up in in White Horse. Said an American from the lower 48 drove into a small town in a small red sports car. Leaned heavily on his horn when spotted a large moose in the road. The moose looked at him a moment and moved just enough the guy squeezed by in car. The guy parked in front of store down the block and went in. Meanwhile the moose casually sauntered up to the sports car and got his revenge. George said locals laughed for days wondering if the guy's insurance would cover it, would they believe him without photos of the moose?I think feywon is correct.
