Child, 3, falls into Yellowstone National Park thermal feature

A park ranger at Yellowstone told me this type of accident happens several times a year, some even resulting in death, but is not mentioned to the press.

Another case of parental incompetence. What were they doing bringing a child that age to such a dangerous spot? If you've ever visited Yellowstone, you've seen those Danger signs all over the place. Yet there are always some idiots who get too near the bears for a selfie, who fall into the thermal basins with nearly boiling water, don't supervise their kids, etc.

Sunny, I've seen, in several National Parks, parents PUT THEIR TODDLERS (sorry to shout) on the backs of bears! Yes! I've seen this more than a few times!
