China has apparently been using a microwave or pulse weapon on Indian soldiers at the Himalayan border which is in dispute. A truce banning gunfire was recently reached but physical brawls among other things have still flared up.

I think 60 MInutes did a report on this years ago. Also some have accused enemies of bombarding embassies with similar weapons and technology.
