Christian Music for those who enjoy it.

I like the old-time hymns. I guess I'm showing my age. I'm not crazy about the Praise songs young people listen to nowadays, but as long as they enjoy it and get something out of it that's all that matters.

When I first stumbled across Contemporary Christian music and liked it. I felt guilty in a way. I had a discussion with my Bishop on it.
He said "If the word is reaching people in a clean wholesome manner, I believe it is a good thing. In church, hymns are reverent and
honoring in nature to God and Our Lord. Do remember Jesus used an unorthodox method of reaching the masses and he even
enjoyed music and a dance now and then. When you listen to this music and it lifts your spirit and your heart fills with love, gratitude
from the message based on His Word...enjoy, but do remember to come to services and show your devotion and honor." I am not
young (74) but I do love singing along with joy and energy at times. Not trying to convince you of anything, just thought I would share
my look on it as an older person. 💖
