I'm relatively new on this forum site so I don't navigate too well. I don't always look at the date, but I need to start doing that.

As you pointed out, we are in the Father's house to honor and revere Him, so our focus really should be on God and worship; not on the latest trends in music. This is why I continue to go to church. I have trouble being the person I should be and need all the encouragement I can get, regardless of the music.

I took piano lessons and can barely play a lick. My mom played by ear. She would only have to hear a tune once and she could pretty much play it. Playing by ear is a talent.

Another favorite song of mine is "Where No One Stands Alone". There's a version where Lisa Marie is dubbed in singing with her Dad. I'm not sure if it's on You Tube or not, but I think it is.

I did it! Thanks! I'm not very computer savvy. Well...maybe not. I posted "Where No One Stands Alone" with Elvis and Lisa Marie and then it turned into "Believe" with Ronnie Dunn which is also a good song. I guess I'll have to work on it some more.
