While in Germany we stopped to buy a gluhwein at a market stall. In front of us was a lady (English, by her rather refined accent) who asked the stall holder what variety of wine he used. He replied 'Red' . 'Oh' she said, and walked off. I wonder what she was expecting for 4 Euros

Last year, after getting the tree up, we decided that it was time to replace our old, smelly and decrepit tree skirt. It has now been replace with a silvery snow white with silver snowflakes.

As of today, by magic, a new ornament has added itself to the decorations...
