Cleveland is Fighting Gun Violence With Additional Resources

How do you know it hasn't changed a thing? In Cleveland so far it has saved 12 lives.

How do you know it has saved 12 lives ? What are their names ?

If it had made a difference here , shootings wouldn't be in the news everyday .

Even the police chief & other officials have stated their frustration.

Just the other night , in a drive-by, a nine year old little girl was shot & killed in her living-room while she was just playing. {I believe} 21 shots ripped through the house and one of them hit her .... right in front of her grandmother.

The so-called difference is pure B.S. fed to the public for those who choose to believe it makes a difference ........ it doesn't.

The street thugs could care less.

Just a week or so ago ... on video a guy fired [at rivals] over the roof of a moving car, and hit four people on the sidewalk ..... Again, shot-spotter was in the area , and it was on [security] {that's a joke} video. No one killed but four people hit . The shooter was caught 4-5 days later. Now he's a hero in his 'community' .

The problem won't be solved with new laws. America's gun laws are already better than you think.

They protect and regulate the right of the people to keep and bear arms for all lawful purposes, severely punish criminal activity, and delineate the government's role.
Our gun laws are such a mystery, because... basically, very few people have ever seen them all or understand exactly how many already exist.

The majority of voters want more restrictive gun laws.

I do not believe that to be true. If it were [ever true] we wouldn't have so many guns. Perhaps you just choose to think that more people/voters think as you do ?

I read once that there are something like , on average three guns for every person in the country. I don't feel like doing the math ..... but that's a alot of guns.
