CNN reporting 2 dead after missiles/rockets land inside Poland

Someone, somehow, needs to take this man out of his misery ...

How would that be proven either way, though? TPTB can only base their decision on the more likely according to the most reliable intelligence.
We have gotten pretty good at figuring things like this out.

For example we are now pretty sure MH17 was shot down by pro-Russian forces in Ukraine, but it took a while ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_17 ), similar story for KAL007 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Air_Lines_Flight_007 ).

We should be able to figure out where it was launched from, and we have a lot of communications intercepts that can help. Also if it was an accident and launched by the Ukraine they may well admit to it.

Ukrainians are also comparing this incident to Fl 17.

US intelligence has reported to Ukraine that the US did indeed record 2 Rusky missiles crossing into Poland.
(which points out there's a few initial baby-steps involved)

The moment Putin began aggressive operations against Ukraine was the tip off that he had become irrational.
Yeah, at least he began in usual Putin-manner back in 2014, when he started putting puppet cronies and oligarchs in charge of a few mid-upper-tier power positions in the east. In 2022, he basically barfed some armed helicopters onto a Ukrainian airport in broad daylight and then followed that up by projectile vomiting a convoy of ancient tanks on a highway into Kiev.

The man is obviously not well.

We need to get the facts about the missiles that crossed into Poland. I have a theory, but at the risk of being called a conspiracist, I’ll defer to let those in power to explain where, why and how.

Why hold back, at this point your theory is probably as good or better than most of what we're hearing. And who knows, you might be right!
Being honest, I seriously doubt Russia would intentionally target a NATO country. Russia fired 100 missiles at Ukraine today, some near the Polish border, and only 75 were intercepted. I mean, 75% is great, but still. Plus there's the fact that Russia's GPS technology isn't always reliable, and indeed, ours neither.

I hope this incident leads to rethinking the No Fly Zone proposal.

The Russian who launched the missile probably mistakenly entered the wrong coordinates, if it was an accident. Or perhaps it was an intentional act to sabotage the war effort, knowing that an attack on Poland would get NATO involved.

Yes, I think I know what you are suggesting and you may be correct. The Russians have proved how incompetent they are. I don't think they would want to escalate hostilities.

CNN reports, early this morning, that the US believes it was a Ukrainian missile, hmm. Not interested in what we, our government “believes”. I believe the US government is trying to downplay what happen and avoid certain reactions of NATO countries. We are always slow to act.

I dislike speculation or, in this case, “believes” this or that happened. I want to wait for the facts. I want the words the US knows what happened. Saying it could have been a Russian missile launched by the Ukrainians is silly. The war has been going on for some time. I would think any made by Russia missiles would have been used up long ago.

But who knows? No one yet.

Rather than all of the NATO countries going to full scale war with Russia over this I want to believe that somebody entered the wrong coordinates into the missile / rocket and that it was a legit accident but IF it is somehow proven that it was done on purpose it's time to end this conflict and Putin's reign with whatever means necessary.

Yes, Ukraine says it was trying to shoot down Russian missiles and it could be that one of their missiles missed it target and hit Poland.

NATO is blaming Russia. Using the same logic that I used earlier in the thread. Ukraine would not be using missiles if Russia was not attacking them. It has been speculated that Russia was shooting close to the border in order to either cause such an accident or get the Ukraines not to fire and allow their missiles to hit; in order to avoid such an accident.

However it plays out, NATO blames RUSSIA. I agree.

While the investigation continues, the blah, blah, blah; it pushes NATO closer to act. Supposedly, no one wants WWIII; but most everyone would like to crush Russia. (Not the Russian people, but their leaders, one leader in particular.).

The drama continues because while there is no right answer; there are a lot of wrong answers.

I figured it came from Ukraine. I didn’t want to be called a conspiracist, so I’m glad I waited. It made no sense for Russia to fire missiles into Poland at this point. I will go out on a limb here snd say, if Russia decides to escalate this war, their next move will be with using their nuclear arsenal. By escalating, I mean, if they decide to fire at countries on the side of Ukraine.

I would be very interested to know where their nuclear subs and our nuclear subs are positioned at this time. If a nuclear war were to break out, I believe the subs will play an integral part of the bombing by launching nuclear missiles from their subs. It’s the next best thing to using stealth bombers/fighters. I would think Russia would consider putting Eastern Europe in their crosshairs.
