I decided to start a thread featuring cocktails! I love to mix drinks, so I thought this would be a god place to record my mixologist efforts, for good and for bad!
This is a Ne-gr-oni. Easy to make and refreshingly bitter, the Ne-gr-oni is said to have been invented in Florence by Italian Count Camillo Ne-gr-oni in the early 20th century. While at Bar Casoni in Florence, he demanded that the bartender strengthen his favorite cocktail, the Americano, by replacing the usual soda water with gin.
Equal parts sweet vermouth, Campari and Gin with a garnish of orange. Poured over ice. Delicious!
I had to edit the name of the drink because the original name, without the dashes, was censored.
